Anti Bribery and Corruption Policy and Procedure

This Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy (“the Anti-Bribery Policy”) is a key part of Elite Moving’s Ethics Policy, reflecting a commitment to consistently uphold ethical standards in all business activities.

When representing Elite Moving, employees, suppliers, and business partners must:

Policy Statement

Elite Moving expects all employees to act with honesty, integrity, and fairness in every business interaction, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. This expectation extends to all business partners and suppliers.

The Company enforces a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption. For clarity:

• Bribery involves offering, receiving, or giving any financial or other incentive to induce someone to provide improper assistance, influence decisions, or gain a business advantage. This includes “facilitation payments” made to public officials to expedite routine processes, even if the amounts are small.
• Corruption is the misuse of trusted authority or breach of duty for personal gain.

Application

Elite Moving and its employees are committed to rejecting all forms of bribery, facilitation payments, kickbacks, or improper financial incentives, ensuring transparency in all transactions. Employees uncertain about a situation should consider how colleagues might view their actions or how they would feel if their actions became public. For guidance, employees can contact their line manager, seek advice from the Executive team, or consult a legal specialist. Concerns about others’ conduct may also be reported through the Whistleblowing procedure outlined in the Staff Handbook. Policy Overview

Elite Moving will:

• Not engage in or tolerate bribery, excessive gifts, or improper incentives to gain or retain business.
• Avoid any illegal payments to agents, public officials, or business partners.
• Work with agents and third parties only for legitimate services, ensuring transparency in these dealings.
• Promote awareness and adherence to anti-bribery policies through communication, training, and Company procedures, including induction and ongoing development.
• Implement management practices to discourage bribery, with accurate financial and tax records and audits to prevent hidden accounts or misleading documentation.
• Not make illegal or inappropriate political contributions.
• Educate business partners on anti-bribery measures and integrate this Policy into relevant contracts to support anti-corruption initiatives.
