Dedicated Removals to Denmark: Your Questions Answered

How do you get to Denmark from the UK on a dedicated move?

We drive our dedicated van from our base in Wallington and cross to Europe by ferry or by the Channel Tunnel. From there we take the direct road route north to Denmark. Because only your things are on board, there are no stops for other loads, and your goods arrive faster and with less handling.

Can you move antiques and fine art to Denmark in a dedicated van?

Yes. Antiques, paintings and sculpture are some of the main reasons people choose a dedicated move. Each piece is wrapped by hand and padded, and fragile items can go in made-to-measure crates. With no other loads on board, your pieces are not moved around to make space. We unpack them and set them in place at your new home.

Can you deliver to a flat in central Copenhagen?

Yes. Many Copenhagen flats are in old buildings with narrow stairs and small lifts, and the streets are full of bikes. We plan the route, the parking and the way in before we arrive. We can also take furniture apart so it fits through tight spaces and rebuild it inside.

Is a dedicated move to Denmark a good choice for students?

It can be, if you have a lot to take or need things there for a set start date. If you only have a few boxes, a bike and a desk, a shared load may make more sense. Tell us your term dates and what you need to bring, and we will suggest the best option for you.

What if my Danish home is not ready on moving day?

If your keys come later than planned, we can keep your things in our secure storage near Croydon until you are ready. We then send them over to Denmark in a dedicated van on a date that suits you. This helps when your sale, rent or job start dates do not line up.

Excellent Service. Would use the company again without hesitation. Efficient, friendly and reliable. Was informed about the status of the delivery regularly. All my questions about the move were answered promptly.

I’m usually skeptical when I see overly positive reviews, but with Elite Moving, the 5-star rating is genuinely deserved. I have almost nothing to complain about.

First, their responsiveness is exceptional—they reply to requests almost immediately, even on Sundays or late in the evening. Second, their flexibility is impressive; they work hard to accommodate your needs, making the stressful process of moving much easier.

I recently used Elite Moving to transport belongings from a storage unit in London to Luxembourg. They offered a very fair price and arranged the move date almost immediately. I appreciated that they allowed me to pay a small deposit upfront and settle the remaining balance upon delivery.

Maybe I was not the easiest customer to deal with since I had so many questions and concerns about importing items from the UK to the EU post-Brexit, but none of this was an issue. Vijithan from Elite Moving was incredibly patient and addressed all my concerns with professionalism.

A big thank you to the team for the excellent job they did. I highly recommend Elite Moving, and if I ever need to move to or from the UK again, I know exactly who to contact.
